Master Don O'Mara

Don O'Mara has worked with fencers for decades before creating the techniques and styles that are the core of Maverick SportFencing. He has shared his methods with Olympic coaches and fencers alike. Nationally ranked fencers along with stars of television and the silver screen have called upon Master O'Mara for instruction.

Master O'Mara is a veteran member of the United States Fencing Association , The United States Fencing Coaches Association, The Society of American Fight Directors, and the Fédération Internationale d'Escrime. Residing now in Indianapolis, he has traveled extensively through Europe and North America spreading the passion for swordplay to every soul he meets.

Master Jeremy McIntosh

Maverick SportFencing's Master of Arms, Jeremy McIntosh comes from a Sho Rin Ryu Kempo background with a strong interest in Japanese Sword Arts. Master McIntosh is an Indiana native who brings years of experience handling blades to Maverick.

Master McIntosh is responsible for all weapons and equipment used in our courses.
